About Ms. Katie T.
I have loved reading and writing ever since I was young. After majoring in English and Secondary Education at the College of New Jersey, I taught middle and high school English for six years. Then, I completed a Master’s in Creative Writing and Literature through the Harvard Extension School. I have been tutor for the English portion of the SAT for the past two years.
It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with and support students in honing their reading and writing skills and discovering the profound ideas in powerful works of literature.
Ms. Katie is a member of the following literary organizations:
- The Jane Austen Society of North America
- The British Association for Romantic Studies, studying the poetry of the late 1700s and early 1800s
- The Society for Classical Poets
- Liberty States Fiction Writers
